About Scientific Holdings
Scientific Holdings is a group of laboratory, testing, and regulatory consulting businesses established to operate within highly regulated environments. The group is structured through holding companies in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, and Hong Kong, with operating laboratories and offices in Liverpool (United Kingdom), Winston-Salem (United States), Barcelona (Spain), and Shenzhen (China).
Our operations are governed by the quality and regulatory frameworks applicable to each jurisdiction in which we work, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and the requirements of regulatory authorities such as the FDA and the MHRA. Our core laboratory operations hold UKAS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, reflecting the technical competence, quality management, and traceability of our analytical work.
Our analytical capabilities span High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), LC-QQQ, and LC-MS, together with microbiological testing. These capabilities are complemented by regulatory consulting services that support clients across the product lifecycle, from early-stage development and safety assessment through to submission strategy and post-market compliance.
The integration of our laboratory and regulatory functions is a deliberate feature of the group’s structure. It allows analytical work to be conducted with regulatory requirements in view from the outset, and enables regulatory strategy to be informed by direct laboratory expertise. This alignment is intended to ensure that data generated by the group is fit for its intended regulatory purpose.
Our international footprint reflects the multi-jurisdictional nature of our clients’ regulatory obligations. By maintaining operational capability in each of our key markets, Scientific Holdings supports clients in meeting the standards required by regulators in the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union, and China, while maintaining a consistent group-wide commitment to scientific rigour and quality assurance.
